The NJEDA Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program is currently taking pre-registrations until October 27th at 5:00pm. All NJ businesses or nonprofits with 50 or fewer full-time equivalent employees (FTEs) are able to receive grant funding during this period (which is referred to as Phase 3). After a business pre-registers, they will be eligible to apply to receive the grant funds. Those applications are first come first serve, so please make sure to be on your computer with all of your application materials at the ready on your respective application opening day:

• Restaurants – 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 29, 2020
• Micro businesses (5 or fewer employees) – 9:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020
• All other businesses, excluding restaurants and micro businesses - 9:00 a.m. on Monday, November 2, 2020

The amount of funds that a business is eligible to receive will be based on the size of their business relative to full-time employees. The pre-registration window closes on October 27, 2020 at 5:00pm. So, please make sure to pre-register as soon as possible if you have not done so at this point.
