Continue supporting The Feed the frontlines initiative was inspired by numerous members of our community helping those on the healthcare frontlines. The Chamber of Commerce and Village Hall have teamed up to pool efforts into one initiative designed to honor the same healthcare workers while supporting local restaurants hit hard economically by this pandemic.

HealthBarn Foundation 501c3 has been gifting food since 2014 through its Healing Meals program. We have gifted over 36,000 meals, soups and desserts to families with ill children at Hackensack Medical Center, St. Joseph's Hospital and Emmanuel Cancer Foundation as well as weekly soup deliveries to seniors in need at Ridgecrest and S.H.A.R.E. in Ridgewood, NJ. As a result, we were awarded the Gold President's Volunteer Award for clocking over 3,500 volunteer hours in 2018. In keeping with our mission of gifting food during the Coronavirus pandemic, we are joining the Feeding the Frontlines team and Mayor of Ridgewood to provide food where it's needed most in our community. The foundation is a community development organization building a stronger neighborhood through the support and development of Ridgewood community projects and events. Our mission is to promote the involvement of all persons in the events to cultivate a vibrant community.
