autumn years walks to fight alzeimer's
Sun, October 27, 2019
Time: 8:00 AM
Location: Bergen Community College, Bergen County
Event Description

Good morning friends and family!

This year Autumn Years is participating in the Walk to Fight Alzheimer’s at Bergen Community College on October 27 at 10am. We are looking for team members to join our walk along with donations to help us reach our goal.

The most incredible thing about Alzheimer's New Jersey is the fact that the money raised goes directly to support groups, educational programs, respite care grants for families (and more!) to New Jersey residents. So everything is local! You can check out the Alzheimer's New Jersey website for more in-depth information on programs & services: https://www.alznj.org/about/.

Alzheimer’s is a disease that affects so many of our seniors. I watched as my mother-in-law went from a well-articulated, intelligent woman to silent and unaware. It's heartbreaking. I watched as her daughter and husband cared for her. The saddest thing for me to see was her not knowing her family, especially her grandchildren.

Please consider contributing to our team and walking with us on October 27. If you click on the link below it will take you to the team webpage to donate.
