Better than Uber- Zoom announces transportation for Seniors....

Bergen County, NJ - A large number of people over the age of 65 years old are
giving up their own vehicles when they move into assisted living communities and looking for transportation.

Zoom Rides For Seniors launched in January of this year as a ride-hailing service just for seniors and the aides that assist them, with a Mission of
No Seniors Left Behind! The baby boomers are a niche market and a huge underserved population. Zoom is taking off quickly with seniors finding it very
easy to call in and book their ride over the phone.

"We finally have a transportation service help make the transition into the assisted living communities more desirable to seniors. Giving them the freedom
to continue being active without the hassles of having to take the van service these communities offer," says Edward Weiner, Director of Sales & Marketing
for, Always Best Care, located in Hillsdale, NJ.

Shopping at my local grocery store I came across a senior who was asking people for a ride. As I was exiting the store she asked
me for a ride and said she would pay me. I immediately felt an obligation to assist her in her time of need. While driving her home she mentioned to me how
hard it was for her to get a taxi since the cab service no longer had its hub in town. I told her I was not aware of this and a light bulb went off in my head.

My solution was to start a ride service dedicated to Seniors and the aides that care for them. Seniors have a peace of mind knowing they can get to their Doctor appointments without bothering the grown kids who have jobs, families and can't make the time to schedule a ride for their parent, say founder Trish Manzo from Ridgewood NJ.
Our drivers are caregivers, who want to earn a little extra money while kids are in school or in between jobs. "I rather work for Zoom than other rideshare companies
because I know I am helping a senior from the community, says Lori from Fair Lawn. Our drivers are equipped with cameras in their cars to provide that extra protection
that others services do not have. Seniors love the door to door service, aides love that it's cheaper than Uber and health agency love that we can pick up an aide from a seniors house take the aide stationed there and drive her to another senior home all with one booking. An app is being developed but it seems that Seniors like to call in instead so I am in no rush to roll it out. Zoom is currently serving all of Bergen County and some parts of Passaic and Essex counties and will expand to other counties in the near future.
