Beethoven was 37 when he composed the work at the request of Prince Nikolaus Esterhazy II in 1807. It is structured in five movements (the five parts of the ordinary mass): Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus and Agnus Dei. Come hear this “long-underrated masterpiece”...and bring your friends.
Featured soloists: Kristine DiMauro-Gonzalez and Aimee Spiegel, sopranos; Apry Helder, mezzo-soprano; Kevin Hanse and Robert Preuss, tenors; Robert Prowse, baritone; and David Langan, bass-baritone.
